Just bought another vehicle to add to the dwindling fleet. The blue oval is back in the sandlot. If you couldn't guess already it's a Ford. Not just any Ford though; A tough, reliable, showroom condition 1995 F250 Powerstroke Diesel. It's got a pretty bad case of Ford door, the interior and exterior are filthy, and the overall mechanical condition is questionable.
In it's defense, there are a plethora of modern ammenities integrated into the chassis; The wonders of powersteering, air conditioning, and believe it or not power windows. In all seriousness, why on Earth did I actually purchase this thing? Well, I do very much like the styling. And I do very much like the powertrain. And I do, very much so, like giving myself the challenge of working on beater vehicles. I hope to tap its full potential and use it for truck-like activities: Towing vehicles, helping Biden move out of the white house, offroad obstacles, etc. I ended up paying $4500 for this rig which might sound like a lot and it is. I guess, that's the 7.3 tax coming into play. I'm excited to start getting out there and doing stuff with it. Check out some pictures below of the beauty:
As I'm sure you can tell by the pictures there is a lot of work to be done. I may very well document the repairs and upgrades I make to the truck on my Youtube channel. I intend to keep track of all costs associated with this build. Thank you very much for checking out this update.
